When VLC is playing a vid, if I browse files through explorer vlc will skip a beat whenever I open a folder. Anyone know the reason this happend. It occured for the first time, has never had trouble before.

I've tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling to no avail.
 
I don't know why you're suffering that problem.

Make sure you have the latest updated version: 0.8.6e

If it were me, I'd check my Kaspersky Internet Security to make sure VLC Media Player was listed as a trusted application. You might look at whatever antivirus product you use to see it it's blocking VLC Media Player's activities.
