VLC alternative

VLC is fine but for one drawback. When you switch applications, it stops, so it has to be on main screen to work. I mainly use it to listen to music videos, but if I want to do something else on my phone while I listen to music videos, I simply cannot. Looking for an alternative application that can do that.

VLC will play in the background if you enable the feature, it is turned off by default. It plays in the background fine on my Pixel 2XL.

In VLC, go to Settings>Video>Background/PIP Mode and select which option you want.

Thanks plenty mate, that helped a lot. I keep it in my pocket while walking, and my pocket used to touch the buttons making the program do weird things (even locked my phone a couple of times).
