VLC 2's subtitle text looks bloody awful?

I've just compared how the subtitle text looks between the last version of VLC 1.x and 2.0, and decided to downgrade. Is anyone else using the new version?

On VLC 2 the subtitle text seems to have hints of blue in it, possibly in a graphical corruption sort of way though.

Has anyone here tried VLC2, and does the subtitle text look odd to you?

Everything normal in vlc 2.0.1 for me.

I've just tried 2.0.1 again and it looks fine (better than 1.x), I just wish I could remember what video I was watching when I had the problem previously.
