Vizio TV dying?

So this morning, I turn on our Vizio LCD TV to see a gray bar across the bottom and above it the image is kind of flickering. I unplugged it for a bit to no avail. Anyone have any idea of what might have caused this? Are we out of luck and its just dying? The TV is about 2 years old. I don't know how Vizio's warranty is, but I"m guessing it won't cover it. I would post a picture but it won't let me. Anyways, anyone have an experience like this?

Unfortunately for you flat panel TVs are basically disposable. Manufacturers love it!

Does it have the same behavior on every input?

True but painful... I get Panisonic or pick your brand for the main TV and Vizio for the bedroom. We have it on 1 hour a night and hope it lasts 3 to 5 years. I can fix a lot of stuff because I'm an elec. tech.

Sounds like something in the horizontal circuit went bad.... someone would have to look at it.

I'd take it apart and check for dust or something that might be causing the issue. You have nothing to lose, and ripping them apart is pretty easy.
