Vizio 32" TV Mounting Question

I just bought a 32" Vizio HDTV and I have a question on mounting it to my TV Stand the stand is a Whalen Furniture forgot the model (Got it a couple years ago at Best Buy for $30 on clearance). Now my question is the TV has two sets of holes on the back (Only one of which is mentioned in the manual the hole set I want to use is the one not mentioned in the manual, as I think it will line up with my stand) I just need to know what type of screw (I think it meant to be used as I can see the threaded nipple in the hole) I just want reassurance as I obviously don't want to damage my new TV

I want to use the hole pattern that is under the Vizio V (The smaller pattern)

Whatever you use, make sure they aren't too long... you can pretty easily go down too far a destroy components on the TV. Be conservative and only use screws that rotate a max of like 10 rotations.
