I'm considering putting together a system for TV recording, kinda like a homemade tivo, but have had no experience with a card with vivo. I have a few questions to clarify what I think I understand.
1.Assuming descent recording software and a good card would recordings lose any significant picture quality?
2.If I also want to use it for gaming the picture, especially text, is gonna be fuzzy unless I use enhancement hardware like TV View Gold. Is this correct?
3.Would Windows Movie Maker be sufficient, since it's already part of Windows or would I need other software.
4.Card recomendations? Doesn't have to be latest and greatest, just descent.
