For those of you who have a Geforce card and VIVO out capeabilities, are you able to use other drivers than the ones from the manufacturer, and still keep the VIVO out functions working correctly, or are they built into the card's drivers from the manufacturer?

I believe they are two separate drivers. The drivers for mine were from nvidia, but were included as a separate driver on the installation cd. I installed the 29.42 detonators I got from nvidia and then installed the vivo drivers from the cd. I looked on the nvidia web site and did not see any vivo drivers listed, so I am assuming you have to get them from the cards manufacturer for the card you bought. Maybe it has to do with the fact that not all cards us the same vivo chip sets so the drivers have to be tweeked for each kind?

Yes, they are unrelated. I use Nvidia 29.42 reference drivers on my MSI GF4 Ti4400 VIVO. I do, however, use the Gainward 1.11 WDM driver, as I heard the standard Nvidia one was having issues (read: not working). They are separate downloads and work independently of one another AFAIK ;)

I use the 29.42 drivers from nvidia and the 1.08 WDM drivers also from nvidia, and it works great.
