I want to like this browser more but it's still lacking some simple things common to most other browsers.

you can finally drag and edit bookmarks on the bookmark bar with right-click, but if you put them in a folder you have to go into options to move/edit them. for some reason you lose right click options when a bookmark is in a folder.

Dragging a tab off the bar to make a separate window is not as smooth as chrome.

You should have the option to completely hide/remove the side bar from the UI not just collapse it and pick which side it's on. It's clutter to me.

And then there's the issue that it's slower to load pages than the other browsers I use.

slimjet has been my chrome derivative for years. When vivaldi was announced I expected to migrate to it, but so far it has not been up to par. I like what they're trying to do however and always keep my eye on their updates.

They have come a long way in three years, I'm quite impressed in what they have achieved so far, btw I find it really snappy on mine. I also have it on Linux as well, just waiting for the Linux version to be released sometime today.

I did not care much for Chrome it's too basic for my needs, Opera new version(Chrome based) seems to be going same way as Chrome while Vivaldi is like the old original Opera days ie reinventing the browser and that's how it should be.

Slimjet can't do the things I need (layout wise) like Vivaldi can.
