vitamin water

i'm actually very curious if this is a good drink to consume and if it would be acceptable to substitute this for water. obviously, i'm not talking of drinking 8 x 8oz of vitamin water, but is it a real vitamin drink or is it just marketed to look like one?

I don't know the answer to your question, but all flavors of Vitamin Water are way too sweet and taste weird.

I prefer regular water and a multivitamin.

sugar is good though. just not in excess.
then why not have a soda, fruit juice, glass of lemonade, etc. and a one-a-day vitamin?

The vitamin dosage with a pill is more predicatable / reliable than drinking some beverage that has crushed vitamin pills in it.

i don't like soda. lemonade is too acidic. the one-a-day vitamin isn't a bad idea, though. i have vitamins but i never take them because they're too big (or i forget) 😱

what makes me impressed by vitamin water (in particular) is that it has all of these flavors: "revive," "multi-v," "energy," "power-c," etc. i think i almost experience a [placebo?] effect when i drink it when i'm tired and then i feel more awake afterwards.

Rip Off. Sugar water with vitamins. Best to drink some filtered water and take a vitamin. Its like ENSURE. That Sh*it is nothing but milk, sugar, and a multi-vitamin outrageously priced.
