Vitamin E to resolve some minor scarring

Hello my friends, quick question....does vitamin E help reduce or completely clear up minor scarring from acne. Im talking opening up the vitamin E gelcap and putting directly onto the face. I have heard that it does but might of thought it was a myth...please any answers would be beneficial...thanks!!!

**EDIT*** second question, is drinking alot of water clean your skin too and help further help the removal of scars and acne...like drinking 2-3 L's a day??

When i was in elementary school i took a nasty spill while riding my bike and had this big cut on my face. My grandma told me to put vitamin E on it until it was completely healed up and I don't have a scar now. I dunno if that did anything but worth a shot

Water is good for skin's hydration, but I doubt with helps with scarring. Though, vitamin E is supposed to.

Water will help because it will help "flush the bacteria" from your body in general. And good health leads to good skin.

Scarring though, Vitamin E does help for smaller scars. If you've kissed pavement at 30mph (Fausto knows where I'm coming from) it's not going to clear that up, but then again
