i have this problem when i installed the Visual Stuido 6.0 Pro.
my machine is running Window XP, and i was trying to install the Visual Stuido 6.0
after the installation, i opened up Visual Basic, the application start up with no problem
but then problem occured when i go to tools on the toolbar and click options ( I need to change some setting)
then i have this error as follow:

if you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
Please tell MS about this problem........... (all those generic error message)
it also said: to see what data this error report conains, click....(and so i did ) and got the following:
Error signatur
AppName: vb6.exe AppVer: 6.0.81.76 ModName: vba6.dll
ModVer: 6.0.0.8169 Offset: 000028eb
Reporting Details:
this error report includes: information regarding the condition of VB when the problem occured;
the OS version and computer hardward in use; your Digital Product ID, which could be used to indentify your
license; and the IP address of your computer.

I dunno wht the problem was..i actually uninstalled and reinstall the Visual Studio like 3, 4 times
and i deleted all those files in the temp folder as well...
i also tried a different Visual Studio Disk...but still dont work..
i need to get that straight to do my project..so if anyone can help..pls drop me a notes!!!

at first I thought it might be the themes that i'm using in for my XP so i changed that back to the Classic XP theme..but still not working
i deleted the files in the temp folders..not working
uninstall..and reinstall...not working
I basically tried to install all components in the disk..like Visual C++, InteDev., VB, and one more but forgot...
..pls...help...😕
