Visual studio.NET comes on 11 CDs. I think I know what I'm doing for the rest of the afternoon.

1 prerequisite disk
3 MSDN library disks
2 actual Visual Studio disks
1 SQL Server 2000 disk
1 service pack disk for SQL server
1 disk with SP4 for win2k
1 update disk from sept. 2004 (original disks released in May 2003)
1 copy of Windows Server 2003.

So, suddenly the idea of VS.NET being on 11 CDs is expounded into SQL Server, service packs for the OS, and another OS entirely? Hmm.

Well, they all came in one big shrink wrapped bundle that was supposed to be "Visual Studio.NET 2003" and all 11 disks say "Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003" at the top of them.
