Visual Studio Emulator for Android won't start due to "An OpenGL error..."

Hello guys,

Recently I have installed Visual Studio Emulator for Android because it works better that the emulator from Android Studio and allows me to keep Hyper-V installed.

Until now it worked perfectly however today it keeps showing the following error: An OpenGL error has occurred: Failed to connect! The emulator will now shut down. I've tried to start another device but the same error is displayed.

Uninstalling and installing again seems to fix this however i would like to find a fix that won't force me to uninstall.

Any ideas how to fix this?
