Visual FoxPro 5 help

Let me preface this by saying I am no programmer. My foxpro program was written many years ago, well before I was hired. I believe it was originally written for Windows 95.

Here is my problem. as we moved from 95 to 98 to XP I was able to just copy the entire folder from the C: drive, paste it in the new C: drive and set a shortcut on the desktop to the APP.

Well I convinced the powers that we needed to upgrade our PCs as they were getting about 5 years old. We bought Dell desktops running Win7.

I copy and paste the folder into the new C: drive on these and I get various errors.

I can get a copy of VFP 9 but I have no idea how to recompile it to get it to work with Win7.

If there is anyone here that can help or is willing to take a look, I would really appreciate it.

I have a limited budget for this but it is possible I may be able to secure some funds to get it working.

Have you tried running the executable in compatibility mode?

Did you google the errors? A quick "fox pro 5 windows 7" google search yielded
Are your desktops 64-bit?

I have actually tried the compatibility mode in every imaginable configuration.

I found that Rick Schummer article but didn't quite think it is the same problem.

I am going to look at all of this again this morning. Maybe i overlooked something.
