Visual Basic setup problems

When I install Visual Basic Enterprise Edition 6.0,it says....unexpected error,quitting,do you know whats wrong?

It didnt update the registry right,could that be the problem?

Make sure your Anti-Virus program (if ya have one) is shut down. I couldn't install Visual C++ with Norton enabled.

I dont have any antivirus software running on my computer

Do you have any problems installing other software? Are you installing from a genuine CD?

Are you sure its not your CD? If your cd has an scratched or like the previous post, copied cds have this kind of problem all the time.
