Hello.

It seems my "color" folder in "c:/windows/system32/spool/drivers" is filled with viruses! I dont know how they got in there. I want to delete this folder, but I get an error. Vista is not letting me delete it due to permissions. I have already tried going into the properties of the individual files and folders and manually allowing full control to all the users, but I get an error saving permissions. I am stumped. What else can I try?

Open an elevated command prompt (run cmd.exe as administrator) and do it from there.

Isn't there a special way to take ownership of a file or folder to gain more permissions? I'm not fully familiar with some of the nuances with Vista but it seems like I've done that before to do more things than what I could by default (even with UAP turned off and as logged in as an administrator).

What viruses are they, can you give the exact names and the program that's doing the scanning?
