Vista64 updating issue

Everytime Vista64 updates itself and I reboot, my icons, which are spread over two monitors, get lumped together on one screen.

Is there anyway to prevent this (besides going back to XP)? It's quite annoying considering Windows updates itself frequently and because I have at least 50 icons I need to put back in place.

In your folder options do you have "Remember each folder's view settings" checked?

If you already do, I don't really have any other advice to offer at the time since I only have one monitor.

If nothing else, you can try the Desktop Icon Position Saver. Save your icon positions and then reload them after a reboot.

I will use this from now on.

My settings are fine. I guess its just one of those Vista things.
