Does it allow you to uninstall from XP Pro version; if you didn't like it ?
I have RC1; shall I try it ? or try to get RC2 ?

No, you can't revert to xp if you install vista over top (are updates even supported at this poiont?). You're better of installing it somewhere else, preferably by temporarily removing your xp drive from your computer and using another, unless you're fairly confident you can manage dual booting and potentially removing vista later without side effects.

As for rc2, didn't they stop distributing that a while ago? I don't see any harm in trying out rc1 and trying to find rc2 in the mean time.
 
it's better to it without the hdd used for windows. i dual booted and in order to go back to XP, i had to use this program. that an AT member gave me. it sets the boot setup correctly but i had to format the partition Vista was on to get rid of the files.
