Vista wont save pics from interweb.

for the past week. ive been franticly trying to save funny pictures i see online. But alas, vista wont save them, any ideas?
 
If you provide a little more information people might be able to help. What browser are you using, are you seeing any sort of errors, where are you trying to save them etc.
 
im using firefox and IE, it will not save them. and if it does save the pics, if will be like 1kb and nothing there.

I've seen some sites that prevent you from saving pics. You end up with the 1kb file like you mentioned - example - right-click and save file you get an empty file called "spaceball.gif".

I got around that with a screenshot which I then cropped.
