hey everyone,

I have been having some trouble with my computer lately, but last night it went crazy. Lately if i use it too much or too long, it would put itself in sleep mode, I have no idea why, i thought it was just something that Lenovo built into the laptop so that it doesn't over heat. It was never really a problem, i would always just leave it for a little bit come back and load it back up from sleep mode.

Last night i was using it and it went into sleep mode again, It never made it into sleep mode tho, which i thought was weird, the screen was black and you couldn't do anything. so i shut it down using the power button. when i started the computer back up, it wouldn't get past the windows loading screen. the black one with the windows logo, the hard drive stops doing anything and it just keeps going. I restarted it and tried to throw it into sleep mode, and it came threw the whole loading screen and got to the login. I put in my password and it gets to the screen where it says Welcome and has the circle and is loading. It would never get past this screen either.

I have some very important things on this computer and can not afford to reformat the hard drive.

What do you guys think i should do? what do you think the problem is?

Go into Control Panel and your power settings. Turn off anything related to sleep - use ALWAYS ON and see if the problem goes away. Also, do all this on A/C - not battery.
