Vista won't let me run games on second hard drive?

Weird problem here, I'm using vista 32 bit and for some reason every single game I've installed to a secondary physical hard drive that the OS is not on won't boot. I click on the .exe and nothing happens at all. Games installed to the C: drive that vista is on work just fine. I've tried reinstalling several times on the secondary drive. What gives?
 
I did that, but it didn't affect anything. I tried installing the HAWX demo, and it runs the DX9.0 version once, and afterwards it no longer runs again. It's really weird and annoying.
 
SOLVED! I feel a bit silly, but at the same time very annoyed at how easy this was to overlook. Turns out it was one of my firewall settings that was blocking the games from executing. I had initially ruled this out because I had tried running games with the firewall program shut down, and they still wouldn't run. However, it turns out that the firewall was still blocking the software even when off.
