Does anyone know if the Vista Upgrage workaround works with the "Anytime Upgrade" packages?

These packs are even cheaper than the normal upgrade versions. So I am just wondering if I can save some more money if I do decide to get vista, especially considering they are reporting Windows 7 as having a Fall 09 Release (Delays to come I bet though).
