Vista Upgrade Certificate Question

I went online last night and filled out the online portion for the upgrade (bought XP MCE at Newegg), it gave me the Order Confirmation Number to fill out on the Redemption Form. Now I have to send it in. I'm just curious what methods others used to send it in. It's going to some company in Utah that I'm not familiar with. Did anyone have any issues w/ sending it via mail, scan, or fax (the options they list to send it)?

I'd prefer to scan and send it, but not sure of the email address. The one listed for the Americas is the same as the one in the Confirmation Email, but at the bottom is says the email is not monitored, so I just want to make sure it is received...

I haven't committed yet, but I would def use a method that is traceable / trackable with a received confirmation. I would probably ensure it for the cost of the OS. That way they cannot say they didn't get it. Trust no one.

My question is if you do the newEgg thing and get the Xp upgrade, could you put that on one machine, and the Vista upgrade on another, different pc ?

Hmm, I would like to know that too. I got Vista at a good price, but hate the idea of
"wasting" an OS by just letting it sit there.

As for answering my own question... I called the place and they gave me an email
address to send my scanned Upgrade Form to.

No, you cannot do this.

If you use an OS to qualify for the upgrade, that OS is now tied to the new OS, and cannot be used/sold
