i have a full version of vista ultimate. it currently sits on my laptop. i have an older desktop that I want to put vista in.

does the same copy of vista ultimate install on two computers?

if so, is that second computer fast enough? (p4 woody 2.53, 1gb, 100's of storage)

No, one license per copy. The p4 would probably handle Vista OK. What kind of vidcard in it?
 
That all depends on your license. Normal retail is one machine per key. I have a package through Microsoft Technet that allows me 10 machines per key. And, it has keys for all Vista versions.
