Vista Ultimate - reward for Beta Testing

Just got an email from Microsoft...a licensed copy of Vista Ultimate is to be sent in February as thanks for participation.

Hopefully mature video drivers will be available then. Or at least by 2008 when the next round of great video games is released.

 
Not really a repost, John...more of a follow-up/clarification.

Your link includes a link which states that no copy will be mailed, only a key, and that the OS must be DL'd...however I now know that a physical copy of the OS will be sent. It is also clarified that Ultimate is being sent, not Business, and that it will occur in 02/2007.

Curiously, I never received the intial email in November. Glad to have received today's email though.

Not to derail the thread, but fwiw, I was thinking the same thing as John. You could have posted your op word-for-word in the original thread.

But what toy left out was that is one of the bennys to actually beta testing ans finding a flaw and reporting it..rather that just having Vista and bragging about it..lol

No, everyone who submitted at least 1 bug report during the beta received a fully licensed copy of Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Vista Business. Very nice of Microsoft as far as I'm concerned! 🙂
