Last year I received Vista ultimate from a microsoft launch event. This go around I was fortunate enough to get selected to host a Windows 7 party (Msoft knows I am poor).
Rather than do the upgrade, I just did a clean install hoping this would allow me to re-use the vista key.
Will I be able to re-authenticate Vista if I put it on totally different hardware? I hope this is the case because my current Win7 is installed and I will mostly likely run this OS for a while and upgrade within a year or so.
