Vista Time Bug

At least once a week, Vista lowers the clock by one hour. Anyone else have this problem? Or a fix?

Sorry - not having that issue on any of my Vista machines. Does it gradually lose time over the week or suddenly lose 1 hour?

I have no clue if this is the problem, just a suggestion.

Have you installed all of the updates? Including the one for daylight savings time?

Vista suddenly loses 1 hour. I never notice it.

I've installed all updates available with Microsoft update.

Why would it only lose one hour if it's the CMOS.

the timer slowing down is usually the first sign that the battery is dying, it still has enougth charge to keep the settings but not enougth to keep the internal timer update.

Much like a battery powere clock eventually slows down to a complete stop as the battery goes flat.

thanx, I'll try synchronizing it to a different location.

The mobo is barely two years old. I don't think it's the CMO. Until I see some other symptoms, I'll be unconvinced.
