vista throws one sata channel in PIO MODE 4

so this is the deal...i have 4 disks on 4 sata channels on my m2r32-mvp motherboard, and every time i try to install vista channel no.2 throws the disk attached to it in PIO MODE 4...of course its slow as hell afterwards...i haver tries 2-3 different disks on it and it is always the same...vista only acceps native or legacy ide modes for install, and putting sata controller to raid or ahci slow vista down even more...is there a fix for this, since on windows xp everything works smoothly...thanks
