Hi, I'm trying to clean install Vista, but after my third reinstall, it always gets stuck at "Completing Installation" after one reboot. My hard drive seems to stops processing at this time as well (mouse works and the ellipses after Completing Installation still move). I've tried searching google/other forums, but couldn't seem to find a definite answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Asus P5N-E SLI
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz
Caviar 250GB 7200 RPM
Radeon x1950 Pro Sapphire
Kingston 2GB DDR2 667
XION 600W

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: 5 hours later - I left it on before I went to sleep and when I woke up I have a blank black screen, with just my mouse displayed. I can move my mouse.

I don't think anything is wrong with my copy.

I'm not sure if its system prioritized (I'm actually not sure what that means)

nprmaly systems that are prioritized are system like hp, dell, and sometimes gateway.. and it means that you cant upgrade your systemt o a new os.. but it does not always afffect the install, it normaly before the install

Got it to work - disabled everything, it worked

later on I discovered I had to disable my RAID controller
