Vista SP2 corrupts my netbook wireless driver

SP2 installation went w/o a hitch.
Upon restart, the netbook did not find any w/l signal despite the device manager who said everything is fine and dandy.
Tried to run Vista repair and diagnose to no prevail.
Rolled back to SP1 using system restore even caused more wreck havoc.
Upon restoring and booting up, it said a 'hal.dll' file is either corrupt or missing, WTH?
Thanks to Acronis Image, I now have everything back to order in SP1.
No more SP2 for me.
Netbook is an Asus 1000HA, btw.

System restore = fail. I don't know why you'd ever want to use it...

Did you check on asus's website for updated drivers?
