Vista sp1 problem

In folders like say the "Pictures" folder in c:/users/"username"/Pictures, where i store a lot of pictures, before in vista vanilla, there were previews which was helpful when browsing the folder, but after i installed sp1 (fresh installed / reformat) i noticed that the picture previews are missing, which is a bit annoying since i prefer not to open up the windows photo gallery and use it to view photos as i would like to see many of them in the folder at the same time like before. Anyone know a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

thanks for the reply, when i did that, the preview shows the same ocean / sky default windows thing on the preview pane as on the picture files themselves.

fixed the issue, had to go to organize, folder and search options, and uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails"
