I installed Vista because of SP1 "I was thinking Sp1 most problems must be fixed lets give it a try." Every thing installed well the Dx10, Drivers, etc.

Now i installed my two cards 2900 XT (down) and 3870 X2 (up), the 3870 X2 was recognised but not 2900 XT, I tried a switch installed 2900 (up) and 3870 (down) the also i got only 3870 X2 recognised. I droped the crossfire idea for now and went with a single 3870 x2 and 3 min's into the game it froze and i got an error "Abnormal Program Termination of Crysis"

So, i re-installed vista without Sp1 and tried the game gain and it worked?? Is there a problem in SP1?? Or will patch 1.2 iron this out....i have 1.1!!

Almost forgot this is Vista Enterprise had Vista OEM earlier.

Well for starters a 2900XT and a 3870X2 are not certified for Crossfire, ATI have a chart somewhere. Install the latest Crysis patch. I would use Driversweeper to clean out all remnants of previous drivers and install the 8.3's again. If you reformat again however, I would be installing Vista fresh, then immediately install SP1, then install all drivers- works for me and I have no problems with Crossfire (never have).
