Vista - Slow Start After a reboot

When I reboot in XP, the RAID set is not powered down (or spun down), and there is no delayed spin up at the RAID screen.

When I reboot in Vista, the RAID set seems to be powered down, and there is a long delay at the end of the BIOS when the RAID screen loads. I can hear the drive spinning up.

A cold start in Vista does not have this problem, or a wake from sleep. Only reboot.

Is there a way of stoppping this in Vista? Any help is appreciated.

Ive found the solution!
- Hard drive spin down/turn off when restarting the OS(Causing all drives to spin up 1 by 1 at the NVRAID BootROM).
