Vista slow boot w/mitsumi floppy card reader connected

Whenever I have a fdd/card reader connected to my mb and start Vista, it seems to stall on the screen where it has the scrolling bar. It'll stall for about 4-5 min. while it seems to be accessing my hard drive for something. If I disconnect my fdd/card reader then it boots up fast. I'm currently running 2gb ram, core2 8600. I'm running a foxconn mb that uses an intel chipset.

Maybe just get rid of the FDD card reader and just use a USB one. Or, check the bios to make sure it's not set to seek the floppy during boot time.
