Vista Sidebar Problem

Running Vista Home Premium
Sidebar is normally enabled, but with only the desktop clock enabled

This morning I turned on my computer and it was dreadfully slow - and I just drop $3000 on my laptop 3months ago, so believe me it's not slow.

Then I noticed a sidebar calendar appear on my desktop... then another and another and another! They just kept appearing as fast as my computer could keep loading them.

I finally got the task manager to come up and I killed the sidebar program, which was taking 900mb of ram and 91% of my processor.

So I was wondering has this happened to any of you guys? Is it a possible new virus?

The only thing I changed yesterday was installing the logitech software for my G7 mouse and g15 keyboard. I will try un-installing that when I get home tonight, even though I doubt that is it.

p.s - is there any way to edit what the sidebar runs, before it actually loads up??
