Vista showing blank icons in the "Programs and Features" task in CP

I was wondering why all of a sudden some program icons have become just a blank (blank paper thing) icon in the "Programs and Features" in CP of Vista. Although this doesn't present a true issue or any problematic, it just seems weird why a few days ago they were the original icons, but now SOME programs (not all) appear just a blank icon. Maybe something icon messed up in the Vista Programs & Features? The actual programs themselves seem fine, it's just the icon next to the program in the uninstall/install. Here's a screenshot of what I'm saying:

I think it has to do with deleting the desktop shortcut icons, maybe. Because they seem to be affected in someway... however, I am not truly sure. Anyone still know how to reverse or fix these icons back? Thanks!
 
If I drag and highlight some, the icons come back...but there are some that never had an icon. Not sure yet specifically why Vista does this, but I'll be sure to look into it.
 
Perhaps it has to do with rebuilding the icon cache or database? Hmm... sorta like XP, but unsure if Vista has it. Strange, eh?
