I'm using search in Vista (with Include non-indexed files checked) to search for a string, e.g. 'helloabc'.
I created a .txt file with a bunch of text, including the above, and Vista search found the file. However when I changed the extension to .abc, the file was no longer found. When I changed it back to .txt, it was found again.
Is searching within files limited to certain extensions only? How can I extend it to all extensions?
