Vista SEARCH PANE..Is there a way to make it show up ALWAYS!

Well, since Microsoft decided it would be a good idea to cripple and almost remove the search feature all together from VISTA....

Is there a way to have the search pane show up @ all times by default.

A couple of folders allow this by going to FOLDER LAYOUT and clicking SEARCH PANE, however, the option is not available for all folders.

Thanks!

For every pane no.

The search box is on every window and should accommodate most of the routine searches, so long as you didn't turn of Indexing. It's not much bother either to use Win+S and select a group of folders for advanced search, or even right click on a folder and select search for the advanced options.

The search box is just a basic tool, to that's out of the question...

Right clicking on a folder gives me no "SEARCH" option.

Pressing the window KEY + S does nothing for me either.
