Vista & Remote Access, What've we got here?

I'm a huge user and proponent of remote access software. Usually I use logmein, which I have found to be an excellent program, but I know that there are a lot of people out there who use a lot of other programs as well. For example, though I don't use it myself I know that XP Pro comes with Remote Desktop.

But the future is upon us, and I'm interested as to what it may hold. Two questions

1) does anyone know if Logmein (any version thereof) works with Vista?
2) if or if not, what kind of options might be built into Vista? Remote Desktop? A comparable or newer version thereof?

Thanks so much

I'm not sure about Logmein, I havent heard anything about it in the newsgroups or bug reports. Best way to find out would be to download and test RC1 when it's released, if you do run into issues be sure to bug them. Of course if there are issues they may need to update their software to work with Vista.

There is an updated (and more secure) version of remote desktop included with Vista.

I think Vista is also supposed to allow 3 users concurrently logged in (1 console + 2 remote desktops).

Nope. It is the same as XP in that regard.

Correction, it's the same as XP MCE 2005 in that regard. You can have a Media Center Extender as well as a "normal" console user at the same time (which you cant do in XP Pro).

Ah good point. But you can't have a user logged onto the console and then create a second session using the remote desktop client.
