I m not sure what happen but its a friends computer. It seems to run at 50-70% cpu usage, but the process isnt showing up in the task manager. He said that his virus scanner randomly popped up a trojan message so maybe thats why i dont know

I have run multiple virus scanners. Here is what im thinking create partition using disk manager in vista and back up docs and such. Then format the c drive and reinstall?

You could do that, or you could try running a scanner from a known clean source like a BartPE disc first.
