Vista-registry and shared DLL's?

searched but nothing came up

Does Vista still use the stupid registry and shared DLL like xp?

it would be so nice to just delete a program folder and have it completely gone
instead of leaving bits in the registry - slowly bloating and slowing down the system,
since Vista is such a pain to clean install it be nice to not have to wipe\reformat every so often like xp to regain a snappy system.

sure wish Microsoft had of bought out OS/2 and made that into the next windows

If you had any clue how shared libraries worked you wouldn't call them stupid and want MS to move away from them. On the other hand the registry is a debatable topic, but yes Vista still uses it.
