Vista problems...really annoying.

Did a new install of Vista on a new rig and I've run into a couple of problems.
For the record I have changed my program files and my documents folders to a second partition.
When I try to play any of the microsoft games they don't do anything. No messages ...nothing. It's as if I'm not even clicking on them. Also I can't update the windows experience index because nothing clicks. I tried using the keyboard and nothing happens.

Any suggestions?
