Vista problem: multiple files selected disables security tab

in vista, if you select one file > properties > you see the security tab
if you select more then one file, you see no security tab.

Is this for real??!?!

if so, vista's security tab is like a step backward in this regard, when compared to win2k/xp. (correct me if wrong)

if anyone knows if its possible to 'get around' or fix this issue, please explain.
