Vista power managment

I run my 360 audio through my PC, so when Vista power management kicks in it's turning off sound (onboard). I cant find a setting within the power options control panel to leave it alone (I'd like to keep everything else turning off if possible).

Any ideas?

yeah that's where I thought I remembered it being in XP but I cant see it.

what kind of onboard sound?

Power management and enhanced power saving features

Change power management to always on but spin down the drives and the monitor.

If the whole PC goes to sleep the soundcard is going down. I don't believe you can change this.

Yeah I just realised S1 suspend was enabled

I also realised I could just have the 360 going straight into my speakers, but the wiring would be too messy and it the quality is much better having the signal amped through the card than the speakers.
