I have been running Vista for about 6 weeks and i am happy with it. Although my office 2003 outlook did not like it a lot so i got office 2007. I find that some apps open slower than they did on XP. For some reason SP1 is not in the update list when i go to the microsoft site so i have not downloaded it yet. Any suggestions on that? I have the newest nvidia and realtek drivers.
Also things seem slower than they were on XP. My specs are below: If i upgrade to a newer Intel cpu and overclock to 3.2+ghz would i see a difference on the windows side or is this just how vista currently is working? Thanks!!! I just wonder if my stuff is finally getting a little long in the tooth.
