I'm not sure if I have done this in the past, but poassibly have, but I do not seem able to login to a windows 10 pc from my vista pc.

I think sharing capabilities are correctly configured on both PC's.
I know the passwords and ip addresses for all items on my home network but this has me stumped.

Please can anyone assist?

Thank you,

In order to improve security Win 10 is more precise in the Network credential

Do not Think (assume). Check again the The General Network setting (Control Panel/ Network Center) Then check in specific the Sharing Permission and Security of each share.

Make sure that both computers have the same user and he/she are loggon both computer.

Some Network Routers and computer react faster after LAN changes if they are ReBooted.
