Vista PC can't connect to Win 10 PC on Network

I'm convinced my Win 10 PC has all sharing settings set to allow access by other PC's.

So why can't a Vista PC on my network connect to a Win 10 PC also on my Network?

Any ideas which could help me please?

Thank you

can u not even access the PC using \\(PCName or IP) in file explorer?

Are you using Home Group as your main Sharing agent?

If yes, you have to switch to the regular IPv4 protocol.

P.S. When I read something like this the only thing that comes into mind is " Alien conspiracy" Theory. :\ - 😀 - :colbert:.

I either do \\ip address or click on Start, Network.
Either way I can see the Win 10 PC but after entering details n pword it informs me Logon Unsucessful.

How do I switch as you state please?

Thanks for this
