Vista only shows 3gb

Any 32 bit OS will not show 4. The way it works is, it *could* see 4 as long as there is no other memory in your system. It's usualy 4 - video memory, but its a limitation of 32 bit OS. Google will help if you need technical reasons. Im too lazy to post it for you though 😛

Hey, as long as I know I didn't do anything wrong that's ok 😛

Does it actually use all 4, though?

Also, is there a way to make the taskbar the same shade of blue as the windows?
The taskbar color is theme based. You can easily make your window frames match the Vista taskbar by selecting charcoal.

You can also go to Windows Classic and not use Aeroglas, and there is a blue classic theme.

Or, you can download any number of free Vista themes and skins. Find one you like.

No, just 32-bit Windows clients and base Server. 32-bit Windows Enterprise Server and any other 32-bit OS that fully supports PAE can use up to 64G of physical memory.

Nope.

Yeah I knew that for some reason I didnt include it in my explaination. Thanks for correcting me.

Actually Windows 2003 Standard server supports 4gb of memory.

Technically so does XP and Vista, the problem is that you have to remap the memory lost to MMIO addresses above the 4G mark so in order to use all 4G the OS has to allow you to use at least 4G+whatever your hardware stole from you.
