Anyone running Vista on a #7207 MSI K8NGM2-L motherboard? I can't even get to setup, it just goes into a reboot loop. This is a barebones box, with just a WD ide harddrive, 1 gb of ram, and a DVDRW drive and a 3500 AMD cpu. Keep in mind that XP PRO will install fine on a new drive in the same build. The Vista Upgrade advisor kicks out the nic controller as incompatible. I see that some running the FID version of this board ,were able to load Vista on that. I even went as far as loading Pro, and trying to upgrade off that. Vista got all the way until the first reboot, and went in the reboot loop from there. Using the same DVDRW, I was able to burn a RC1 disc, and use that to install Vista on a NF2 build. Kinda pointless, other than making sure that all the hardware used on the K8 would work with Vista. The onboard Video on the K8 is listed on Vistas compatibility site.Hoping that I'm overlooking something stupid, like a bios setting that should be changed. ANY suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
