If I buy Vista OEM, and have a motherboard fail am I SOL? How many times can I install onto a different board?

Motherboard fails = replace with same motherboard = OK
Motherboard fails = replace with different mobo = MS considers that a new PC = new license needed for the OS

no that's bs, if you wanna replace the board you have to reactivate, not have to get a new license!

However Microsoft is open to listening and in the cases I have had to call they are accomodating if you cannot get a direct replacement.
